Our Story
Salt & Honey Apothecary was born from a simple question we heard again and again at Spa Elizabeth.
For years, our guests have enjoyed freshly blended body scrubs as part of their spa treatments. Each scrub was handcrafted for the individual guest—a blend of mineral-rich salts, nourishing honey, botanicals, and beautiful aromas designed to create a personalized ritual of self-care.
After every treatment, someone would ask:
“Can I take this home?”
They loved how soft their skin felt. They loved the experience of something being made just for them. Most of all, they loved the feeling of participating in a ritual that was uniquely their own.
That question inspired us to think differently.
What if you could create the blend yourself?
What if the experience wasn’t just taking home a product, but becoming part of its creation?
And so Salt & Honey Apothecary was born.
Inspired by the sea that surrounds us and the traditions of handcrafted apothecary goods, we created a space where guests can blend bespoke perfumes, custom salt and sugar scrubs, botanical bath soaks, bath teas, and personalized aromatherapy creations.
We believe the most meaningful things are made by hand, with intention and a little creativity.
The salt represents the ocean, renewal, and connection to place.
The honey represents warmth, comfort, and the sweetness of gathering together.
